Recently, the Georgia teen driver involved in a high speed car crash while using Snapchat was arrested and charged with a felony.
The 19-year-old driver was allegedly recording speeds of more than 100 miles per hour on Snapchat’s speed filter app when she slammed into another vehicle, seriously injuring the driver.
In addition to the charges, the family of the injured motorist is suing the young driver and Snapchat to pay for medical bills, although the case is on hold while an the investigation proceeds.
